The Salzburg Festival

A unique cultural event that takes place every summer, since 1920, in July and August, during five to six weeks in the city of Salzburg.
Among other things, traditional the whole performance is been represented by Hugo von Hofmannsthal's "Jedermann", the first presentation on the 22nd of August 1920, labeled, directed by Max Reinhardt in the cathedral square, the birth of the festival. Since then the Festival established it self for drama, opera and concert with about 200 events annually and more than 250,000 visitors each year, one of the world's most important and prestigious festivals.
